The 2021 application season for organic certification is now open! Please make note of the deadlines below for specific scopes. Required forms can be found on and downloaded from the appropriate pages on the Certification menu. If you would like a paper application packet mailed, please contact our office.
Deadlines for applicants are listed below. (For currently certified producers, your deadline can be found on the update letter which you will receive by mid-February.)

Crop Farms – June 1, 2021
Dairy Farms – Contact MCS Staff, special planning is required.
Livestock Only Farms – Contact MCS, the June 1st deadline may apply
Maple Syrup Operations – February 15, 2021
Processors/Handlers – Applications accepted year-round
Sea Vegetables – Applications accepted year-round, production area(s) must be inspected prior to harvest
Winter Greenhouse Producers – November 14, 2021
