MOFGA, York County Farmers’ Network, and Umaine Cooperative Extension are pleased to invite you to be our guest at a winter Growers Meeting this February 14th, 2019. This event will provide the southern Maine community of farmers an opportunity to connect with one another, to hear about MOFGA technical services and programs for commercial growers, and to learn more about and from the York County Farmers’ Network. Our intent is to offer both high value content and to hear more from local farmers how we can better support one another in your region.
A local foods lunch will be provided. Please RSVP so we make sure we have enough food for everyone, but registration is not required to attend! All commercial growers are welcome.
Topics for the day will include business support services for farmers, making organic certification more accessible (using standard operating procedures), time for topics specific to local farmer interests, and more! We hope to see you there!
